The Women's Auxiliary of the
United Hebrew Schools will hold
its annual meeting and installa-
tion of officers at 12:30 p.m.,
Wednesday, at the Hebrew
School's Esther Berman branch,
located at 18977 Schaefer.

to the event, according to Mrs.

Mr. and Mrs. David Lippitt
have returned from their hon-
eymoon in New York City and
the Concord Hotel, at Kiame-
sha Lake, N.Y., following their
marriage on April 24, at Beth
Abraham Synagogue.
Before the -wedding, the bride
was the former Marjorie Ann
Diamond, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Jack V: Diamond, of Rose-
lawn Ave. The bridegroom is
the son of Mr. and Mrs. Martin
Lippitt," of Marlowe Ave. Rab-
bis Israel I. Halpern and Jacob
E. Segal and Cantor Shabtai
Ackerman officiated at the cer-
emony.
Mrs. Merton Colburn was the
bride's matron of honor, and
Ellen Gordon and Mimi Dia-
mond served, respectively, as
maid and junior maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Shayna Par-
zen, Dolly Krigel, Cyrille Gor-
don and Rosalind Goss.
Pvt. Allen Lippitt was his
brother's best. man, and ushers
included Charles Friedman,
Roert Schwartz, Allen Rosen-
berg, Gerald Gurvi s,' Earl
Wolfe, Marvin Frankel and
Fred Rosenthal, with James
Friedman as junior usher.

Patricia Sue, to Lawrence Jor-
dan Isaacs, son of Mr. and Mrs.

be is now stationed with the US
Army at Fort Leonard Wood,

Mrs. Eugene J. Arnfeld, of
Strathcona Dr. Miss Arnfeld is
a graduate of Liggitt School.
Mr. Barker, the son of Mr. and
Mrs. Harold Barker, of Chicago,
Ill., is a graduate of the Uni-
versity of Miami. The couple
plans to wed Sept. 10.

presentation night at 8 'p.m.,
Tuesday, in the, synagogue
social hall. Radio and television
sportscaster Al Nagler will be
featured, and there will be a
movie of the 1957 Stanley Cup
playoffs. The synagogue basket-
ball team will be honored.
Cub. Scout Pack Invites Parents to Pow-Pow
Final plans have been com-
pleted for the June 9 Pow-Wow
to be held by Beth Aaron Cub
Scout Pack 537 at the Country
Day Camp, according to Sam-
uel Schrag, cub master. The
scouts have invited their par-
ents to the event, at which fi-
nal awards and badges will be
issued. Nathan Soberman and
Stanley Altman are adults in
charge of the affair.

Musical Instruments
Announcement of the en-
gagement of their daughter,
Joyce, to Michael Rosett, was
made by Mr. and Mrs. Charles
E. Joseph, of 20841 Kipling, Oak
Park, at a recent family dinner.
Mr. Rosett, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Paul Rosett, of 20474 Free-
land, attended the Detroit In-
stitute of Technology.
\A special campaign to pro-
cure wind and percussion in-
struments for Israeli children
"itching to press the keys of a
clarinet, oboe or saxophone" is
being conducted by the Miz-
rachi Women's Organization of
America, according to - Mrs., Eli
Resnikoff, national chairman of
the campaign committee. The
needed instruments include pic-
colos, flutes, bassoons, English
horn s, trombones, coronets,
trumpets, drums and cymbals.
Those able to do so should
send the new or second-hand
(in good condition) instruments
to Mizrachi Women, 242 4th
Ave., -New York 3, who will for-
ward them to the Bessie Gots-
feld Children's Village, the
Mosad Aliyah Children's Vil-
lage and other Mizarchi proj-
ects.
Awards were presented by Try-
ing Stoller, awards chairman,
and Milton Stearn, adviser, to
Henry Schrag, Howard and
Jeffrey Stoller, Wolf badges;
Stephen Adler, Lion badge; Ste-
ven Schwartz and Ronald Steen,
Weblos Award.
Flags for the month of May
were won by Den 2, for atten-
dance, and Den 4, for honor.
