Center Groups •
Mark Passover

Passover celebrations for per-
sons of all ages will be held at
the Jewish Community Center
during April. •
- Older adults at D. W. Simons
'branch, 4000 Tuxedo, will ob-
serve the holiday at a third
Seder, at 8 p.m. Thursday, ac-_
cording to. William Friedman,
president of the Israel Culture
Club, who is Chairman for the
affair. The Seder is being
planned by the President's
Council.
Families of the Jewish Par-
ents Institute will hold Sedprim
at the homes of members with
two or three families invited
to each, in order to encourage
an intimate, neighborly atmos-
ph9re. All new families will be
asked to attend. Sedorim at the
houses of older members.
Young adults at the Davison
Center will dance at the Matzo
Ball in the low4ge, beginning
8:30 p.m., Sunday..
On the .same
date, in the Hy-
.
man C. Broder auditorium, jun-
iors at the Davison branch will
watch a Passover pageant "Fes-
.tival of Freedom,"- featuring a
modern dance group, led by Ada
Bandalene, accompanied by a
choral reading group and choir.
Members of all Junior clubs will
participate. A buffet of Passover
delicacies will follow the pro-
gram.
Teens • and Tweens at the
Davison branch will dance to
the music of the Keynotes at
their Matzo Ball, starting 8 p.m.,
April 20, also amateur night.
Juniors at the Ten Mile Cen-
ter will observe Passover with
individual club activities, rather
than at a mass program. The
Friendship Club will prepare
dioramas- of Passover. scenes.
Athletic teams will have a
model Seder to which they will
invite their . parents. Drama-
Crafts will make a paper mosaic
mural depicting\ the Passover
story..
Children in the morning and
afternoon classes of the Davison
branch playschool will combine
for a Seder, at 11 a.m., Monday.•

Atkins, a native Detroiter, as
