The ball marks the 'successful culmination of the annual fund-raising drive by the Greater Detroit Bnai Brith Council. Funds are raised to supple- ment funds supplied to Bnai Brith agencies and philanthro- pies by membership dues and the Allied Jewish Campaign. Among the activities sup- ported through this annual campaign are the Bnai Brith Hillel Foundations, the Bnai Brith Youth Organizations, the Bnai Brith Vocational Service, Bellefaire, Leo N. Plaques will be awarded to Young Israel, which finished the regular season's play with a 12-2 record to lead the South- ern Division, and to Beth Abra- ham, with a 13-0 record, which topped the Northern Division. The rotating plaque will be awarded to Cong. Bnai David, which survived three playoff rounds to emerge as the league champion. Individual trophies will be given to members of each of the teams.
