Mrs. Norman Gold, of 18215 Warrington, and her mother
Mrs. Frank Wolfson, recently returned from a visit to their
former home in' Corpus Christi, Texas.
Misses Donna Lemberg, Bernice Beck and Doris Sax have
sailed aboard the Queen Elizabeth for an extended tour of
Europe. The three are the daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Lem-
berg, of 'Whitcomb Ave., Mr. and Mrs. I. Beck, of Marlowe Ave.,
and Mr. and Mrs. Morris Sax, of Scotia Ave. in 'Oak Park,
respectively. While abroad Miss Lemberg hopes to see her brother,
Pfc. Fred Lemberg, stationed in Ulm, Germany.
Mr. and Mrs. Walter Arnoff, of 19280 Warrington, are vaca-
tioning in Palm Springs, Calif.
Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Gordon, formerly of Cortland Ave.,
are now residing at 19391 Votrobeck Dr.
Mrs. M. Yamshon, piano teacher and singer, recently gave a
talk on Mozart to her adult piano class:which meets at 1 p.m.,
each Tuesday, at Brightmoor Community Center.
Mr. and Mrs. Harry A. Krandall, of San Juan Drive, visited
their children, Mr. and Mrs. Saul Raimi and newborn grandson,
Phillip Charles, in Dorchester. Mass. Before returning to Detroit.
Mrs. Krandall visited with her family in New York city.
Mrs. Louis Elliman, of the Belcrest Hotel. has returned home
from a visit in Beverly -Hills, Calif.
Edith Albert Freedman, of Whitmore Rd., who is spending
the winter in California. will attend the marriage of her niece,
Judith Helene Albert, daughter of the Jacob Alberts, of Los
Angeles, to Earl Jay Broidy. The wedding will be solemnized ,
April 7, at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.
Mrs. Rebecca Dinetz, of 15476 Sorrento, is on an extended
vacation in Miami Beach, Florida.
Rita Sloan, 13-year-old pianist, will be presented in a debut
recital by Julius Chajes at 4:30 p.m., Sunday, in the Davison
Jewish Center. The recital, open to the public, will include com-
positions by Bach, Schubert, Chopin, Lizst, Debussy and Chajes.

ing of the Mumford Parents
Club, 8:15 p.m., Monday, in the
Mumford High School audi-
torium.
A graduate of Yale Univer-
sity, Dr. Brownell served on its
graduate school faculty as pro-
fessor of educational adminis-
tration. He was president of the
New Haven State Teachers Col-
lege • and served as United
States Commissioner of Educa-
tion from 1953-56. He was su-
perintendent of Grosse Pointe
schools for 11 years.
A, social hour will follow the

The parents club has sched-
uled its annual fund-raising

Bar Mitzvahs

Jeanette Stuart : daughter of
Mr. Max Rothenberg, of Holly-
wood, Fla , became the bride of
Wilfred D. Fink, son of the late
Mr. and Mrs. Saul Fink, of De-
troit, in a ceremony March 15,
at which Dr. Richard C. Hertz
officiated. The immediate fami-
lies attended a wedding - supper
in the Statler Terrace Room,
after which the couple left for
a honeymoon in Maimi Beach
and Havana. On their return,
they are residing at the Belcrest
Hotel.

Mrs. Roselyn .Zeldes was in-
stalled for her third consecutive
term as president of the Turover
Ladies Auxiliary in recent cere-
monies at Turover Hall. 12129

Mrs. Pearl Gold, a former
president of the auxiliary acted
as installation chairman for Mrs.
Zeldes and the following women:
Esther Winer and Katy Gel-
ler, vice-presidents; Pauline Bo-
rin, treasurer; Bertha Geller
and Bella Honeyman, secreta-
ries.
Other officers installed were:
Sarah Schulzinger; publicity di-
rector; Sophia Pfeiffer, hospi-
