Appearing Monday night on a BBC television pro- gram, Sir John pointed out that there wire big distances to cover and the UN forces "haven't got energetic orders to get on with anything." Col. Robert Henriques, author of a book on the Sinai Campaign, who appeared with Glubb Pasha on the pro- gram, agreed with the ex-commander of the desert force that the UNEF could not control the border situation. On a definition of U.S. policy, Mr. Dulles referred Mrs. Meir to the March 1 UN address of Ambassador Henry.
