route to London when she gave
birth, with the assistance of
Stewardess Alisa Flascher, a

African beauty contest.
Word was flashed to a Vienna
hospital from the plane and
when it arrived, a hospital car
was waiting, as, was a large
crowd of reporters _and photo-
graphers and plain citizens. Mrs.
Fangl walked down the plane
ladder unaided. The baby will

Discover Surplus of 'Yiddish' Dogs
HOLLYWOOD, (JTA) — If
you happen to own a dog which
can yodel in Yiddish, please
don't offer your pet to George
Sidney, the Columbia Pictures
director.
Kosher diet of lox, bagels and
cream cheese. Somehow, word
leaked out that Sidney was hav-
ing trouble finding a dog with
a taste for Kosher cuisine.
When Sidney came to work
after the leak to the press, all
his telephone lines were tied
up, telegrams stacked in units
of 100 concealed his desk and
there were so many dogs in his
waiting room there was no place
for aspiring human starlets. Mr.
Sinatra's office was similarly
inundated.
Sidney and Mr. Sinatra left
town at about the same time.'
Sidney has already been of-
fered a French poodle with
Yiddish yodeling skills. Also a
dog that can open pistachio nuts.
Also hundreds of dogs whose
owners claim the pets insist on
Kosher foods.
It all began when Columbia
Pictures started work on a film
