Several. members of Phi Sigma Delta fraternity at the. Uni-
versity of Detroit have returned from a two-week vacation in
Miami Beach, Fla. Among those making the trip- were Arnold
Zuroff, Arnold Aaron, Jerry Sitner, Charlie Babbush, Norman
Lippitt and Allen Shorr.
- Mrs. Lou- Altus, of Tyler Ave., recently entertained 75 guests
at the Park Shelton Hotel at a lunCheon honoring her' daughter
Marilyn's sixteenth birthday. Among the gifts Miss Altus received
were five trees planted in her honor by her cousin, 11-year-old
Ronald Berlin.
Miss Shirley Gill, of the Jules Doneson Travel Agency, is
presently touring areas of Mexico, including the new hotels just
opened this season. Her trip is made in conjunction with the
group tour she will conduct there this spring.
Mr. and Mrs. William Gottlieb, of. -Appoline Ave., were
honored recently on their 25th wedding anniversary with a sur-
prise -party given by their daughter, Frances.
Mrs. Morris Shatzen, formerly of Detroit and now of Los
Angeles, Calif., has moved into his new home at 6626 Linden-
hurst.
Mr. and Mrs. Sam Richmond, of 18934 Kentucky, were
honored j.Dy their family last Sunday with a dinner at Northwood
Inn, celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary.
Mr. Sidney Markel, of Northfield Blvd., Oak ?ark, has re-
turned from a two-month tour of South America. His itinerary
included stops in _Venezuela, Brazil, Uruguay, Chili, Boliva,
Paraguay, and Argentina, where he visited with relatives , and
friends. He will remain here until June when he will go to
France to spend the summer with Iriends, the_ Sol Robbins, of
-Miami Beach, Fla.
Mr. and Mrs. Sam Markel, of Northfield Blvd., Oak 'Park,
are home from a trip to South America, where they visited lvith
family and friends.
Mr. and Mrs. Jay Wainer and.daughters, Marilyn and Linda,
have returned to their home on Canterbury Road after a two-
Week stay in New York.
A dinner party honoring the birthday 'of Mrs. Maurice Floch,
of Winthrop Ave., was given recently • by the Albert Dutschs at
