Mr. and Mrs. Morris Chadwick, of 2087 Ewald Circle, have
returned from a two-week trip to New York.
Mrs. Rose Cowan was installed as historian of the Allied
Veterans Council Auxiliary at a program held Thursday, in the
Veterans Memorial Bldg. Mrs. Cowan is a representative of the
Jewish War Veterans Auxiliary. The AVCA is comprised of
13 'veterans auxiliaries, including JWVA.
Mr. and Mrs. Seyniour W. Schwartz (Hattie Avrushin) and
family, formerly of Webb Ave., are now residing in their new
home at 19813 Freeland.
First Lt. Alvin S. Golman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jay Golman,
of 3049 Glendale, has graduated with distinction from the Motor
Officers Corps, conducted by the U.S. Army Europe Ordnance
School, Fuessen, Germany. Lt. Golman, a member of the 545th
Signal Co., situated in Mannheim, graduated from Wayne State
University in 1954.
Coming here to attend the Bar Mitzvah of Warren Barnett
Shafkind this Saturday, at Beth Aaron Synagogue, will be the

ville, Ont.; Mr. and Mrs. David S. Schulman, of Cleveland, O.;

Mr. and Mrs. Simon Liberman, of Liberman's Delicatessen,
are now vacationing in Mexico. Before returning to Detroit, the
Liberman will stop at Los Angeles and Las Vegas.

A dinner party honoring Mr. and Mrs. Sam Stewart, of
Glendale Ave., on the occasion of their 25th wedding anniversary
will be gvien this Sunday by the Jack Freemans and William
Schwartzes at the latter's home in Oak Park.

honored on their 37th wedding anniversary with a banquet given
by Jericho Lodge, IOOF, at Horowitz Catering. Maurice Bordelove
was master of ceremonies at a "This Is Your Life, Jack Spring"
