Mr. Robert Allen Mazer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Mazer,
of Clements Ave., is now back in Detroit following his dis,
charge from the U. S. Marine Corps. During his last year in
service, Mr. Mazer, who held the rank of private first class,
was assistant to the Jewish chaplain.
Mr. and Mrs. Max L. Subar and family, of Grand Rapids,
Mich., are residing in their new home at 31 Woodward Lane., S.E.,
Grand Rapids.
Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Wisotsky, formerly of Ilene Ave., are
leaving this Sunday, after 35 years in Detroit, to make their
home in Florida. They presently are residing with their daughter
and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Jerome Friedman, of 17175 Ilene.
Friends and relatives are invited to say goodbye to the Wisotsky's
on Saturday night.
Mr. and Mrs. Joseph H. Siegel, of this city, have left by
Pan American for Johannesburg, South Africa, where they will
visit with friends.. While there, they will travel to Capetown to
see their family. On the return trip they will stop in Italy,
Switzerland, France and England.
Pvt. Edward H. Stewart, son of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Stewart,
of Glendale Ave., is now on a tour of duty in Korea, where he is
serving in the U.S. Army security department. Before entering
service, Pvt. Stewart was in Baltimore, Md., where he was per-
sonnel director for the Sheraton Corp.
Mr. and Mrs. William Hordes were honored by their children,
at a dinner, Thursday evening, on the occasion of their 40th
wedding anniversary. Their son, Herbert Hordes, arrived from
Israel Tuesday to be present at the celebration.
• Miss Sandra Roth, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Roth, of
Tyler Ave., recently celebrated her 15th birthday with a luncheon
for 15 friends at her home. The Roths' son, Allan. J., has returned
from a visit of several days in Chicago, Ill.
Mr. and Mrs. Morris Rose and children of Manistee Ave.,
Oak Park, are vacationing in Los Angeles, Calif.
Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Banks have returned from Miami
_Beach, Fla., where they visited with their parents, Mr. and Mrs.
Nathan Yaffa and attended a frozen foods convention during
their two-week stay.
Mr. and Mrs. Nathan Yaffa, of Tracey Ave., are spending
the winter months in Miami Beach, Fla. They will return
home for Passover in April.

Audrey Katz Marries Primrose Club Plans
Anniversary Event
in Double-Ring Rites 26th
The 26th anniversary dinner-

In a recent double-ring cere-
mony at Adas Shalom Syna-
gogue, Audrey C. Katz, daugh-
ter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry N.
Katz, became the bride of Law-
rence B. Kron, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Joseph Kron. Rabbi Jacob
E. Segal and Cantor Nicholas
Fenakel officiated.
The bride's gown of white silk
taffeta with bouffant skirt and
chapel train was accented by
seed pearls and iridescent se-
quins. Her crown of seed pearls
and rhinestones was held in
place by a French illusion fin-
gertip veil. She carried a white
mother-of-pearl Bible, covered
with white orchids and stream-
ers of ribbons with white rose-
buds.
Judie Katz, the bride's sis-
ter, was her maid of honor, and
Mrs. Ronald Balan, her matron
of honor. Bridesmaids were
Mrs. Donald Pomerantz, Mrs.
Leonard Gordon, Sharon Freed-
man, and Ilene Stotzky.
David Kron was his brother's
best man, and ushers were Alan
Becker, R o b e r t Schneider,
Leonard Gordon, Richard Ro-.
land and Jack Lifsitz.
Following the ceremony, there
was a dinner. and reception in
the synagogue social hall. Out-
of-town guests attended from
Chicago, Ann Arbor, Lansing,
New York City, Coral Gables,
Fla., and West Orange, N. J.
After a honeymoon in New
York, the couple is residing in
Ann Arbor.

Circle School Opens
Spring Registration

Registration is now being ac
cepted by the Workmen's Circle
School in both its nursery and
elementary school classes.
The nursery, for youngsters,
3 to 5, maintains a complete pro-
gram in its full-equipped quar-
ters and has an adjoining play-
ground.
The elementary school cur-
riculum consists of Yiddish and
Hebrew reading, writing and
speaking, history, literature,
singing and dramatics, current
events, life in Israel and Bar
Mitzvah preparation.
Transportation is provided by
buses of the United Hebrew
School, with whom the Circle
Schools now cooperate. For in-
