Temple Israel was the scene
of a recent double-ring cere-
mony, in which Marilyn Patricia
Hartman, daughter of Mrs. Hilda
Hartman, of Birchcrest Dr., and
the late Mr. Andrew Hartman,
became the bride of Marvin
Siegel, son of Mrs. Samuel
Bernstein, of Washburn Ave.
Rabbi M. Robert Syme offici-
ated, and Cantor Robert Tulman
assisted.
The bride selected a white
silk peau de soie gown. The
scoop neckline and cathedral
train skirt were lavishly ap-
pliqued ._w i t h re-embroidered
Alencon lace and iridescent se-
quins. A matching lace and se-
quin cap held her fingertip,
triple-tier veil of silk illusion,
and she carried a white Bible
covered with white orchids and
streamers of ribbons with tiny
white rosebuds.
Mrs. David J. Pearl, the
bride's sister, was matron of
honor, and Sarah Handlesman
was maid of honor. Bridesmaids
were Mrs. Albert Altman,
Sheila Axler, Phyllis Ezrach,
Natalie Falk, Joanne Tisdale,
and Irene Swartz.
Burton C. Hartman, her
brother, gave her in marriage,
and Joseph Fealk, the bride-
groom's brother - in - law, was
best man. Ushers were Marvin
Gellman, Marshall Keys, Hy
Levine, Donald J. Pearl, Irving
Portnoy and Howard Willner.
Andrea Hartman and Fredelle
Fealk, nieces of the bride and
bridegroom, respectively, were
flower girls, and Marc Andrew
Pearl was ring bearer. Also in
the bridal party were the bride's
grandmother, Mrs. Regina Crow,
and the bridegroom's brother-
in-law, Irving Keys.
A buffet supper and reception
followed. Among the out-of-
town guests was GOv. G. Men-
nen Williams. After honey-
mooning in New York City, the
young couple is residing at
19390 Votrobeck.

Yeshivah PTA to Host
Midwest Conference

Yeshivah Beth Yehudah of
Detroit will host the Midwest-
ern conference of the National
Association of Hebrew Day
School PTAs, which will con-
vene here the weekend of March
23-24.
Delegations from as far away
as Denver, Minneapolis and
Memphis are expected to attend
the parley. Mrs. Jack Isbee,
president of the Yeshivah PTA,
has been appointed chairman.
The PTA conference will be
utilized also for a meeting of
the principals of midwestern
Hebrew day schools, when ques-
tions about curriculum will be
discussed.
