In a ceremony solemnized Dec.
30, at Beth Aaron Synagogue,
rtz ▪ Audrey R. Borden was united in
marriage to Morton R. Demak,
44 Rabbis Benjamin H. Gorrelick
and Moses Lehrman officiating.
The bride- is the daughter of
Mr. and -Mrs. Leonard Borden,
of 18640 Griggs. Mr. Demak is
the son of the William Demaks,
of 2923 Doris.
For her wedding, the bride
chose a gown of peau de soie
styled along princess lines and
highlighted by short sleeves and
a scoop neckline. The gown was I
trimmed in Chantilly lace, seed
pearls and iridescent sequins. A
panel of lace in back extended
into a chapel train.
Her Juliet cap, trimmed in
lace and seed pearls, held in
place an imported French il-
lusion veil which fell to her fin-
gertips, and she carried a white
orchid on a prayerbook.
Mrs. Leonard Demak, sister-
in-law of the bridegroom, was
matron of honor, and brides-
maids were Ann Napoleon, of
Boston, Mass., Marlene Glynn,
of Windsor, Ont., Mrs. Robert
Katz, of Flint, and Mrs. Jerome
Friedman.
Leonard Demak was his broth-
er's best man, while ushers in-
cluded Jason Goode, of Pontiac,
Jerry Schreiber, of Flint, Dan
Fogel and Larry Frohman.
Following the wedding, the
couple left for a Chicago honey-
moon, after which they will take
up residence in Ann Arbor.
Out-of-town guests here for
the ceremony were from Penn-
sylvania, New York, Massachu-
setts, Ohio, Illinois and Canada.
