habilitate themselves by learn-
ing a new trade, it was an-
nounced here by the Ministry

The addicts, who are between
the ages of 20 and 30, will leave
the Bat Yarn Mental Hospital
where they have been confined,
to take up a farm vocational
course.
The patients from the hospi-
tal's narcotics department will
study shop work, plumbing and
a number of other agricultural
skills designed to fit them for
settlement in rural communities.
The announcement of the new
course expressed hope that the
training might provide the pa-
tients with the basis of self-
assurance and pride necessary
to help them • overcome their
