Social workers from Detroit
and Cleveland Bnai Brith and
other community leaders will
meet at 8 p.m., Wednesday, at
Beth Aaron Synagogue, to con-
sider treatment methods in
dealing with children's emotion-
al problems.
Highlight of the evening will
be the premiere of the new
Bellefaire movie, "Boy in the
Doorway." The film depicts
graphically the mental hygiene
work carried on for children at
Bellefaire, nationally-known
Cleveland center.
A question period will follow.
Mrs. Mary G. Baroff, casework
supervisor of the Jewish Social
Service Bureau, and Alexander
Horwitz, regional supervisor of
Bellefaire, will preside.
Maurice A. Enggass, Mrs.
Samuel Aaron and Samuel W.
Leib, Belefaire trustees in De-
troit, are the sponsors of the

Next Friday is the date for
the fifth annual Snow Ball pres-
ented by Mumford's Parents
Club and the social committee
of the Student Council. The
dance will be held from 8:30-
11:30 p.m., in the main ballroom
of the Veteran's Memorial build-
ing. Music will be by Sam
Emmer. Members of the dance
Committee are: Janet B i n g,
chairman; Linda Tann, Dick
Chosid, Sandy Sarko, Lorraine
Bachrach, Brenda Boroch, Norm
Moscow and faculty supervisor
Doris Utter.
Thursday, the entire music
department will take part in
the annual Winter Concert at

Bnai Moshe Marrieds
to See Segregation Film

"Segregation in the Schools"
will be the topic for this Mon-
day night's meeting of Bnai
Moshe Married Couples Club.
The group will gather at 8 p.m.
at the home of Harry and Lee
Blau, in Oak Park.
Robert Kohler, program co-
ordinator of Bnai Brith's Mich--
igan regional office of the Anti-
Defamation League, will pre-
side. A film on the subject will

As the term rolls into its final
stretch, many activities are in
store for 'Lites.
Dec. 7 is the date for the sec-
ond community sing. Previous
sings have been so successful
that 'Lites are demanding more.
Attention music lovers! Cen-
tral's annual Winter Concert
will presented Dec. 13 and 14
by the music department. Par-
ticipants include 200 students
from the concert choir, band,
ensemble, boys' and girls' glee
club, brass choir, and verse
speaking choir.
Next Friday will mark the
opening of the basketball sea-
son when the Blazers meet
Cody at Cody. Good luck team!
As part of their exchange pro-
gram, Central's Spanish Club
played host to Mumford's club
recently. Officers of the club
are Jack Pelcman, Dan Slobin
and Joanne Sparr.
The Scott Paper Co. was the
site of the last Science Club
trip. Among those attending
