_Plan Hanukah Program

The annual Hanukah get-
together of the Young Married
League of Cong. Shaarey Zedek
will be held at 9 p.m., Tuesday,

The program will be in the
form of a workshop, and will
feature community singing, a
vaudeville revue and a Harku-
kah store, at which numerous
holiday articles may be pur-
chased.
A social hour will conclude
the program, to which friends

tural program, "News and

Cultural Event Sunday

Cong. Beth Israel Men's Club,
Flint, through the efforts of its
Yiddish Cultural Group, will
present a cultural program at 8
p.m., Sunday, at the synagogue.
Cantor Shabtai A c k e r in a n,
former chief rabbi cantor of Tel
Aviv and presently at Beth
Abraham Synagogue, will pre-
sent a concert of Yiddish, He-
brew and cantorial selections,
accompanied by Dan Frohman.
Rabbi Philip Kieval, of Beth
Israel, will speak on "The Value
of the Jewish Book". Isaac Fin-
kelstein, attorney and past pres-
ident of the Detroit Sholem
Aleichem Institute, will discuss
"I. L. Peretz—The Great Yid-
dish Classic".

Sam Yuster has been elected
president of the Jewish Social
Club, which currently is con-
ducting an extensive member-
ship drive. Other officers elected
