At Museum, November 2-18
The third annual children's
Book Fair program will, be held
at the Detroit Historical Muse-
um, Nov. 2 through 18.
The Fair is sponsored by the
Detroit Federation of Women's
Clubs, Detroit Public Schools,
Detroit Public Library, Detroit
Council of Parents and Teach-
ers-, Detroit Institute of Arts,
Detroit Free Press, and Chil-
dren's Book Council.
Children may be scheduled to

The 100th anniversary of the
birth of the late Supreme Court
Justice Louis D. Brandeis will
be observed' here at a special
ceremony, at 8 p. m. Wednes-
day, Nov. 14, at the Detroit
Historical Museum, Woodward
and Kirby.
Sponsored by the Jewish Na-
tional Fund Council of Detroit
in cooperation with the Muse-
um, the event will be featured
by the presentation to the Mu-
seum of a certificate, received
from Jerusalem, Israel, indi-
cating that the Museum was
inscribed in the Golden Book
of the Jewish National Fund.
William Hordes, who in-
scribed the Museuin in the
Golden Book during t h e
American Jewish Tercente-
nary celebration, will make
the presentation. Henry D.
Brown, _director of the Mu-
seum, will accept the certifi-
cate on behalf of the Muse-
UM.
Leonard N. Siknons, a mem-
ber of the. Museum' governing
board, will,open the ceremonies
and will introduce the presi-
dent of the JNF Council, Ben
Harold, who will preside.
The address, evaluating the
work of the late Justice
Brandeis as lawyer, ,jurist
and Zionist leader, will be
