Cantor and Mrs. A. A. Rosenfeld, of 21970 Kipling, Oak Park,
recently gave a reception honoring the following newly-arrived
cantors and their wives: Cantor and Mrs. Shabtai Ackerman, of
Beth Abraham, Cantor and Mrs. David Adler, of Bnai Zion;
Cantor and Mrs. Reuven Frankel, of Cong. Shaarey Zedek and
Cantor and Mrs. Ihil Gilain, of Beth Aaron. Also present were

Mr. and Mrs. David M. Gordon (Minette Imerman) have
returned to New York following a brief visit here with their
mothers, Mrs. Florence Gordon and Ms. Lena Imerman.
Mr. Jules Doneson, operator of the Jules Doneson Travel
Agency, is currently in Hawaii for the Aloha Week celebration.
He will attend the opening of Henry Kaiser's Hawaiian Village
and will make a survey of all hotels and their facilities. On
returning to Detroit, Mr. • Doneson will organize a tour to Hawaii,
featuring nine days in the Islands, with optional stopovers in
Seattle, Los Angeles and San Francisco.

returned from a plane trip to New York City. While there, he

Detroit Chapter of Hadassah
will culminate its fund-raising
campaign with an Honor Roll
Jubilee, to be held in the ball-
room of the Ford auditorium at
9 p.m., Nov. 10.
Mrs. Norman Rom, president,
advises that all Honor Roll
members and their escorts will
be sent invitations. Contribu-
tions may still be sent to Mrs.
Max Lichter, vice-president of
fund-raising.
Hadassah will herald its an-
nual H-Month drive for mem-
bership with a dessert luncheon
program at 12:30 p.m., and a
cocktail party at 8:30 p.m., both
on Monday.
Mrs. Reuben Bienstock, vice-
president of membership, is in
charge of the program which
also features H-Day on Wed-
nesday, when Hadassah work-
ers will call on prospects
throughout the city. This cam-
paign is directed by Mrs. San-
der Hillman.
Through the courtesy of Bar-
ton's Chocolates, each new
Hadassah member will receive
a "Taste Box" as a souvenir
of the occasion.
