The annual Champagne Din-
ner of the Detroit Business
Men's Group of the City of
Hope, one of the leading social
events of the season, will be
held this year on Nov. 4, in the
Sheraton-Cadillac Hotel..
The dinner will officially open
this year's campaign for $100,000
and inaugurate plans for the
formation of a -Million Dollar
Club.
• Although not yet fully-organ-
ized there are already 16 mem-
bers who have contributed a
minimum of $1,000 to affiliate
with the Million Dollar Club.
Organizations, firms or individ-
uals may join the club.
Funds from all programs of
the Business. Men's Group sup-
port the City of Hope, of
Duarte, Calif. The institution
admits patients suffering from
cancer, tuberculosis, leukemia,
Hodgkins Disease, and heart ail-
ments.
Organized only 10 years ago,
the Detroit group is one of the
nation's leading fund-raising or-
ganizations for the City of Hope.
It is the first group to organize
a Million Dollar Club.
The unique program of the
Duarte medical center has been
an increasing subject of national
comment in recent years. Its
free, non-sectarian service have

the United Nations" at its meet-
ing at 12 noon, Tuesday, at the
