Annual Dinner - for Nov. 25

Morris Karbal, secretary of
the Beth Yedhudah Schools, this
week announced that the an-
nual Dinner and Show, spon-
sored b y the Businessmen's
Council and Synagogue Council
of the Schools, will be held
at 6 p.m., Nov. 25, at the Latin
Quarter.
The program, which will be
preceded by a cocktail hour,
is the • seventh in a string of

AJ Congress Calls for Halt on Nazi Magazine

The American Jewish Con-
gress has called upon the Ameri-
can News Co., to halt its dis-
tribution in the United States of
Der Weg, a German-langauge
periodical published in Argen-
tina.
Der Weg, the AJ Congress
charged is "a scurrilous and
hate - mongering publication
whose sole aim is the reinstate-
ment of world Nazism, and
whose stock in trade is a violent
anti-Semitism."
In letters addressed to Henry
Garfinkel, president of Ameri-
can News Co., Isaac Toubin,
ecutive director of AJ Congress,
called Der Weg "a - mouthpiece
of present=day Hitlerism."
