the engagement of their daugh-
ter, Sandra Dorothy, to John
Harris Shepherd, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Maurice Shepherd, of Man-
or Ave.
The bride-elect is a junior at
the University of Michigan
school of education. Her fiance
attends the university's law
school.
An August wedding is plan-
ned.

othy Fox Chapter of Bnai Brith
Young Women was announced
this week by Sharon Fox, pres-
ident pro-tem of the group.
The chapter is named for Mrs.
Fox, a Detroit housewife, who
died last March. A wife, mother,
homemaker and active member
of Bnai Brith, Mrs. Fox exem-
plified to the girls who named
the chapter for her: "the qual-
ities of womanhood that the
members of the chapter hope to
attain."
Besides Miss Fox, other tem-
porary officers of the group are
Linda Bresler, secretary, and
Thelma Heller, treasurer. Three
members of the new group - are
from Windsor.
