MRS. MILTON GORLOVSKY
In a double-ring ceremony
performed Aug. 19, at Beth
Aaron Synagogue; Leda Wahl,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sam-
uel Wohl, became the bride of
Milton Gorlovsky, son of Mr.
and Mrs. Jack Gorlovsky. Rab-
bi Benjamin H. Gorrelick and
Cantor Ihil Gildin officiated.
The bride's gown reflected
the classic lines of a Viennese
court dress in pearl lustered
chiffon blended with Chantilly
lace. Softly shirred chiffon
formed t h e empress bodice
which was styled with deeply
curved decolletage and long,
tapered sleeves.
The lace outlined a rose pat-
tern over the elongated, sculp-
tured midriff and also frosted
the extremely full skirt. Triple
rows of the lace farmed inserts
alternating with bandings of
shirred tulle which terminated
in a gathered flounce and ex-
tended into a formal, cathedral
train.
Sheer flowrets encircled the
little`` tilted forehead cap, to
which her tiered veil of silk
illusion was gathered. Her bou-
quet was composed of white
orchids, lilies and streamers.
Mrs. Edward Droz was the
bride's matron of honor, and
bridesmaids were Mrs. Al
Kemper, her sister; Ilene Wolf-
son and Gail Wolfson, her cou-
sins. Fonda Coleen Droz was
flower girl.
George Gorlovsky was his
brother's best man,. and ushers
included Al Kemper, the
bride's brother - in - law; Carl
Garlow, Ted Garlow and Wil-
liam Gorlovsky, brothers of the
bridegroom; Norman Rivkin,
Seymour Wolfson and Bernard
Brodsky, her cousins; Edward
Droz, her brother-in-law; and
Al Glazer. Sanford Brodsky
was junior usher, and Larry
Glazer, another cousin of the
bride, was ring bearer.
Out - of - town guests were
from Buffalo, N. Y., and Chi-
cago, Ill. Following a month's
honeymoon in Hawaii, the cou-
ple will take up residence in
Oak Park.
League of Women
Plan Election Program
Under the auspices of the
League of Jewish Women's Or-
ganizations, a number of its
constituent groups are plan-
ning a political program, at
which candidates from both
parties will present and discuss
their platforms.
' According to Mrs. Philip
Bernstein, League preSident,
the meeting will be held at
12:30 p. m., at Adas Shalom
Synagogue, and will be open
to the public.
Organizations ordinarily spon-
soring such programs prior to
election have requested the
•League's arranging a commun-
ity-wide meeting to avoid du-
plication. Representatives from
cooperating organizations are
now drafting questions to be
asked at this non-partisan pro-
gram.
