continental chocolate shop will
open on Aug. 27, at Crowley's,
in time for the High Holy

The opening will be cele-

will receive a souvenior pack-
age of chocolates.
Crowley's will be the only
local department store to carry
a complete line of Barton's

rabbinical supervision and carry
the U seal of the National
Council of Orthodox Rabbis.
Special holiday assortments,
including Barton's famous Rosh
Hashanah gift chocolates and
year-round delicacies will be
available.
In addition to regualr holi-
day specialties, such as a choc-
olate shofar, candy-filled plas-
tic shofar and 15 different He-
brew letters in milk chocolate,
Crowley's will show the new
gift package of four taiglech.
Made from an old world
recipe, t h e Rosh Hashanah
treats are filled with huge
fresh-toasted pecans, cherries,
pineapple and honey. They are
sold individually.
Enclosed in each holiday
package is a 20-page illustrated
booklet, which is actually a
five-year calendar of the 16
Jewish holidays and fast days.
Each is illustrated on a sep-
arate page with symbolic draw-
ings and explanations of the
holidays' meaning.
