Lew Wisper's Mother
Dies; Here Since 1892

Mrs. Yetta Wisper, mother of
local theater chain owner Lew
Wisper, died Aug. 2. She had
resided at 19520 Argyle Cres-
cent.
Born in Poland, Mrs. Wisper
was a Detroit resident for 64
years. Services were held at the
Ira Kaufman Chapel.
Among the numerous organi-
zations in which she was ac-
tive were Women's American
ORT, Hadassah, Jewish Wo-
men's European Welfare Organ-
ization, Jewish Home for Aged,
Cong. Shaarey Zedek and its
Sisterhood. She also worked for
Jewish philanthropic groups.
She is survived by her hus-
band, Aaron; two other sons,
Joseph and Leonard; two daugh-
ters, Mrs. Hattie Schwartz and
Mrs. Donald Levinson; six
grandchildren, and seven great-
grandchildren.

Samuel Feldman Dies
in Miami at Age of 76

Retired Detroit builder and
real estate man, Samuel Feld-
man, died Aug. 2, in Miami,
Fla., where he had lived for 15
years since his retirement. He
was 76.
Born in Russia, Mr. Feldman
had lived in Detroit since 1904.
Services were at Ira Kaufman

While in Detroit, Mr. Feld-
man had been active in Perfec-
