Sr. Frondizi, a member of the policy making body of the Union Civica Radical, pointed out that two of the eight mem- bers of that group are Jews. He noted that he had often been accused by his political enemies of being a Jew. This is not true, he said, but he is "proud" of being called a Jew. Sr. Frondizi cited the active part played by Argentine Jews in the development of the coun- try. Admitting that there is some "reticence" towards Jews in some Argentine groups, he insisted that it was due to "ig- norance" and that "those who know Jews intimately, value them." tees committee for contacting Israel. The new board of directors of the corporation includes Ed- ward Levy, Morris Schaver, Abe Kasle, Bernard Milinsky, Holtzman, Israel Davidson, Lou- is Berry, Osnos, Joseph Gendel- man, Roth, Sam Solomon, Philip Lipson, Safran, Benjamin Wilk, Robert Kasle, Abe Green, Leon Kay and May. BBC Reports on Its 'Technical. Inferiority' laborer from Sao Paulo, Brazil, had his sight completely restored here after an unremitting strug- gle by a Boston rabbi on his behalf. Aaron Katz, of Sao Paulo, who was described as a veteran of both Nazi and Communists camps, had his sight restored by an operation at the Massachu- setts Eye and Ear Infirmary. His benefactor is Grand Rabbi Levi I. Horowitz, of Rochester, N. Y. Katz, who had lost the sight of his right eye, • had heard that Rabbi Horowitz often assisted needy Jews in all parts of the world. He wrote and explained his plight. He was provided with passage money through the gen- erosity of the local community. New York rabbis provided his fare to Boston. When he arrived here, on May 30, he was told that only immediate surgery could pro- vide relief for his condition. At that time, Katz had only $2 left. Rabbi Horowitz went into action once again and, calling on per- sons in the local community, raised the necessary funds in just six hours. Katz will rejoin his wife and four children in Sao Paulo— and what's more, he'll see them clearly once again. For Wonderfully Memorable HIGH HOLIDAY'S • Sept. 5 to 15 .
