TIBERIAS, (JTA)—Develop-
ment work on the site of the
tomb of Rambam—Moses Mai-
monides — has been resumed
here following a compromise
settlement of a protest made by
religious groups.
The Chief Rabbinate and the
extremist Orthodox Naturei
Karta sect had protested on the
grounds that graves in the area
might_ be desecrated. Under the
compromise plan, no bulldozers
will be used and great care will
be taken in having all work
done by ,hand. In addition„ a
building will be constructed
over Rambam's tomb to ensure
that it is not disturbed.

NEW YORK (JTA)'—German
audiences do not want to see
films dealing with the Nazi
regime and the persecution of
the Jews nor do film executives
see anything wrong hi employ-
ing men with virulent Nazi
records, it was reported here in
a dispatch from Munich to

newspaper.
The lengthy report on the
state of the German film indus.;
try by Fred Hift, cited a riuma
ber of cases of former top Nazis
who had found or were finding
employment in the film indus-
try.
One of them, Ernst von. Salo-
mon, who went to , prison for
complicity . in the murder of
Walter von Rathenau, Jewish
Cabinet Minister during the
Weimar Republic, was later "an
