left this week via El Al airlines to attend the Summer Institute in
Israel, sponsored by the Jewish Agency. She was one of 16 mem-
bers chosen nationally on the basis of leadership ability and
potential service to Hadassah to receive a special scholarship
to make the trip.

Mrs. Edith Freedman Levy, of Whitmore Rd., is a guest at
Hotel Preston, Swampscot, Mass., where she will remain while
she visits with relatives from Brookline, Mass.

Rabbi and Mrs. Harold Waintrup (Elise Zeme) and children,
of Abington, Pa., are visiting with their parents and grandparents,
Mr. and Mrs. Sol Zeme, of Webb Avenue.

Miss Joyce Kaye, of 18400 Fairfield, a junior at the University
of Michigan, is spending her summer vacation touring Europe.
She will make stops in England, Scotland, Ireland, France, Swit-
zerland, Austria, Italy and Germany.

Rabbi and Mrs. Morris D. Margolis, formerly of Detroit and
Jacksonville, Fla., now of Reseda, Calif., are spending the sum-
mer with Mrs. Margolis' sister, Mrs. Joseph M. Erman, at Clover
Lodge in Omena, Mich. They plan to remain at Clover Lodge
until the end of August. Rabbi Margolis is spiritual head of Beth
Ami Temple in Reseda.
