Rabbi Henry Hoschander, 'for four years spiritual leader of Cong. Bnai Israel, in Pontiac, Mich., will leave in August to assume new duties as rabbi of Cong. Beth Shalom, Rochester, N. Y. Prior to accepting the post in Pontiac, Rabbi Hoschander had served Cong. Bnai Israel in Northampton, Mass. He also was a Hebrew school teacher at Machzikei Talmud Torah, Brooklyn, N. Y. Ordained at the. Isaac Elchan- an Seminary of Yeshiva Univer- sity, Rabbi-Hoschander received his secular training at Yeshiva University (BA in mathemat- ics) ; University of Massachu- setts (MA in counseling and guidance); and started studies toward a doctorate in education at Wayne University. He is a member of the exec- utive of the Rabbinical Council of America, chairman of the RCA's Midwest Torah Tour, member of Bnai Brith, Zionist Organization of America, Hapoel Hamizrachi and Rabbinic Alum- ni of Yeshiva University. He is the author of "A Model Seder for Young and Old," pub- lished by Yeshiva University, "Modern Anthology on the Ethics of Our Fathers," soon to be published, and a contributor to "Ideas." Rabbi Hoschander is married and the father of three sons. Bnai Moshe Schools Open Fall Registration Fall registration for the Bn.ai Moshe Religious Schools, lo- cated on Dexter and Lawrence, and at the Clinton School, Oak Park, is now open. Students who enter grades seven through 10 spend three hours at the school Sunday mornings and one hour during the week on Jewish history and Hebrew.
