Despite the many political
overtones, the Detroit Jewish
Folk Chorus, - under the direc-
tion of Henri Goldberg, turned
in a musically entertaining eve-
ning of Hebrew and Jewish folk
songs. A mediocre performance
of Earl Robinson's "Lonesome
Train" and some misplaced Mo-
zart were also included.
Politics and music often mix
like oil and water. There is no
need to attempt to indoctrinate

an audience at a musical per-
formance with anything but

music.
