Mr. and Mrs. Jack JacOs, of 4077 Clements, will celebrate
their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house this Sunday.
Helping to share the occasion will be the couple's children, Mr.
and Mrs. L. Jacobs, Mr. and Mrs. D. Segal, Mr. • and Mrs. F.
Rubin, Mr., and Mrs. Z. Lopata and Mr. and Mrs. H. Gussini
their families, friends and 10 grandchildren.
Mr. and Mrs. Julius Ring, son, Alvin, and daughter, Estelle,
formerly. of Clements Ave., have moved to their new home at
19978 Snowden.
Mrs. Rose Rubenstein and Mrs. Eada Barrer will present a
number of pupils in a piano recital at 3 p.m., Saturday. A dem-
onstration of creative music by the students will be offered.
Next Tuesday evening, Emma Schaver, noted Detroit so-
prano, will sing at the Israel anniversary celebration in Dallas,
Tex. U. S. Solicitor General Simon Sobeloff will be the guest
speaker.
Miss Barbara Greenstein, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sidney
Greenstein, of 18435 Cherrylawn, recently celebrated her six-
teenth birthday with a luncheon for 50 guests at the Statler
Hotel. Among her friends present were the 'Misses Sue Hart,
Sue Green, Carla Joseph, Adria Sussman, Barbara Schwartz,
Arlean 'Lewis, Joyce Baskin, Elaine Schuster, Marcia Morris,
Cherrie Siegan, Georgina Silverman, Loretta Green, Judy Marks,
Adria Meckler, Carol Lewis, Judy Sarasori, Linda Tann, Elaine
Redlick, Ronnie Berris, Linda Miller, Linda Penner, Loraine
_ Solomon, Joan Kalt, Hally Roth, Marilyn Oschin, Ina Carol
Gold, Marsha Grossman and Andrea Waxman.
Mr. • and Mrs. Philip Salomon, formerly of 'Ewald
are now residing in their new home at 21931 Avon, Oak Park.
Mr. and Mrs. Michael J. Kushner and Miss A. Trechtenberg,
of W. 7 Mile Rd., recently spent a weekend in Pittsburgh, Pa.,
where they attended the wedding of their nephew, Bernard
Trachtenberg, to Shirley Hochhauser. From there, they went
on to visit relatives in New York and Connecticut.

At a candlelight ceremony
May 20, in the Statler Hotel's
Wayne Room, Elayne Janet Lef-
kofsky became the bride of
Myron Elliott Yudkin. Rabbi
Morris Adler officiated.
The bride is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Joseph M. Lefkof-
sky, of Huntington Woods. The
bridegroom is the son of Mrs.
I. Fred Lear, of Ansonia, Conn.,
and the late Mr. Julius Yudkin.
Mrs. Yudkin chose a wedding
gown of Italian silk in camillia
pink. The fitted bodice was ac-
cented with a portrait neckline,
long torso and tiny ruffled
sleeves with matching' gauntlets
appliqued with delicate Alencon
lace.
The bouffant skirt fell grace-
fully into a cathedral train. Her
tiered veil of pure silk illusion
was _secured by a tiny crown
of matching lace, and she car-
ried pale pink orchids on a
prayer -book.
Mrs. James A. Garrity was
matron of honor, and brides-
maids were Mrs. Howard Par-
ven, Mrs. Leonard Albert, the
bridegroom's sister from Bridge-
port, Conn., and Ilene Berke.
Dr. Harold Lefton., the
bride's brother, was best man,
while serving as ushers were

port, Sherwood C o h e n, of
Orange, Conn., and Arthur Pot-
off, of New Haven, Conn„

Jewish Folk Chorus
Slates 31st Concert
The 31st annual concert by
the Jewish Folk Chorus will
feature Earl Robinson, noted
folk composer, in his own com-
pc>sition, "The Lonesome Train,"
a cantata based on Abraham
Lincoln's assassination, on Sun-
day, June 10, at the Scottish
Rite Cathedral in Masonic Tem-
ple.
Other program features will
be Hebrew and Jewish folk
songs by the chorus, with Hope
Smith, piano accompanist, Louis
Ybarrondo and a dance group,
Harold and Barrett Smith, vio-
linists; Rose Schachter, Ellis
Freed_enson, Arnold Sabaroff
and Ruth Goldman, vocalists,
and the Robert Nolan Singing
Ensemble.
Chairmen of the souvenir pro-
gram, issued in• conjunction
with the concert, are Mrs. Y.
Jaffe and Mrs. R. Levine. Cho-
rus officers are Morris Citrin,
president; Walter Litt, vice
president; Mrs. L. Gray, treas-
urer, and Leon Gray and Mrs.
M. Sabaroff, secretaries.

The program of modern dance
and dance-drama by the Wayne
University Dance Workshop
and Theater, which opened
Thursday, is performed by a
group of 28 dancers and four
actors, with about 45 students
and staff members assisting
in the production. The Dance
Workshop is assisted on the pro-
gram by the Student Dance
Group, and the University The-
ater is contributing a produc-
tion of W. B. Yeats' "A Full
Moon in March." Performances
continue tonight and Saturday,
at 8:30, and Sunday, at 3 p.m.,
closing the current University
Theater season.
Among the participants are
Sharon Corey, daughter of Aar-
on Corey of 3275 Cortland, and
Peggy Ann Barnett, daughter
of Dr. and Mrs. Louis L. Bar-
nett, of Pleasant Ridge. Miss
Corey, who acted previously
this year in the Wayne produc-
tion of "The Crucible," plays
in ."A Full Moon in March."
Miss Barnett, who has danced
in previous Wayne Dance Con-
certs, is a member of the Dance
Workshop, which is presenting
the, largest portion of the pro-
gram. She has also been active
with other dance groups and
appeared in a dance drama at
Cranbrook in the summer of
1953. •
