Next Tuesday, scores of grate-
ful community leaders will join
in honoring a de - erving and
devoted fellow-worker, on his
70th birthday, in appreciation
of his many year's activities in
support of all deserving causes.
Ben Kramer, who has distin-
guished himself in many fund-
raising. campaigns, was born in
Cleveland, May 15, 1886. He
attended the Cleveland .public
schools.
Since Feb. 10, 1914, when he
came to Detroit, Mr. Kramer
has been in the metal and scrap
iron business.
An active member of Temple
Beth El, he has worked un-
interruptedly, for 40 years, for
worthy charities., and has been
a leader in Allied Jewish Cam-
paigns and welfare fund drives
during the past four decades.
