The pro- gram will be held in the Esther Berman Bldg., Schaefer and 7 Mile Rd. The youth awards will be presented by Mrs. Robert Cog- gan, awards chairman, to Judy Stutz, winner of the silver men- orah, and Ronald Benson, who will receive a silver menorah. The Rosenberg Youth Awards, presented annually by the League to the outstanding young man and woman in the city, is based on overall achievement in school, religious school, or- ganizational a n d individual leadership. Honorable mentions will be _given to Risha Cohen, Barbara Goldsmith, Sharon Fox, Ronald Bassey, Allen -Croll and Daniel Cohn. Judges of the contest were Nathan J. Kaufman, Juvenile Court Judge; Huldah Fine, Hampton School prinicipal; Louis LaMed, creator of the LaMed Literary Awards and the LaMed Professorship of Jewish Studies at Wayne University, and Frank Simons, city editor, Detroit Jewish News.
