At a recent board meeting of
the Yeshivah,:-Beth Yehudah
PTA, events for the remainder
of the school year were sched-
uled. A Memorial Day picnic
for all Students, parents and
friends will be held Wednesday,
May 30, at Lola Valley Park
and will feature games, races
and prizes.
The annual bazaar, a main
fund raising effort, will be held,
June 10, on the school grciunds
Toys, clothin g, jewelry and
household articles have already
been collected, and Mrs. Bennet
Bider, chairman, requests that
anyone wishing. to donate new
merchandise may call co-chair-
man, Mrs. Solomon N. Cohen,

Mrs. Hillel Abrams, bake sale
chairman, announces that fresh,
home-baked goods will also be
sold. Past proceeds of the ba-
zaar have been used to buy
school buses and improve school
facilities, and this year's pro-
ceeds will continue this work.
The National - Association of
Hebrew Day Schools PTA con-
vention will meet on May 29-30,
at Elizabeth, N.J., stated 'Mrs.
Jack Isbee, Beth Yehudah PTA
