Mr: and Mrs. Louis Rosenberg, of 24230 Church, Oak Park,
celebrated their golden wedding anniversary on April 24, at a
dinner given for them at Lachar's by their children, Mr. and 1
Mrs. Louis Savin, Mr. and Mrs. William Dr3iman and Mr. and '
Mrs. Herbert Rosenberg.
Mr. and Mrs. Ben Kaplan, of Woodingham Dr., returned
recently from Tucson, Ariz., where they vacationed this winter.
Mr. and Mrs. David H. Cooperman and daughter, Frances, -
formerly of Pasadena Ave., are now riding in their new home
at 20020 St. Marys. They are currently being visited by another
daughter, Mrs. Walter Jonas, of New York.
Mr. and Mrs. Max Nusbaum, of 10700 Oak Park Blvd., were
hosts last week to Cantor and Mrs. Bela Herskovits, of New
York: Cantor Herskovits was here to participate in the weekend
celebration of the first anniversary a the completion of Young
Israel Center of Oak-Woods. The cantor and his wife were
entertained at a kiddush and m'laveh malkeh on Saturday, at
which board members and guests of the congregation were
present.
Mr. and Mrs. David I. Berris have left for an extended
visit in Israel.
Mrs. Samuel Elkin (Betty Glass) and her daughters, Susie
and Risa, of Richmond, Calif., are here visiting her parents, Mr.
and Mrs. Morris Glass. Mrs. Elkin came to Detroit to attend a
testimonial dinner being given for her father by Sholem Aleichem
Institi.-"-^ and Farband Branch 114 in celebration of his 60th
birthday.
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Liebman (Anne Stolsky); of New York
City, are now residing on Stoepel Ave.
Mr. and Mrs. Irving W. Blumberg and Mr. and Mrs. Lester
Lapides are on their return trip from Israel and Europe. While in
Israel, they were received by the President and Foreign Minister.

9:30 a.m., Sunday at the syna-
gogue. Fathers are invited to
participate in the morning

the Wofford Beach Hotel, in Miami Beach, Fla., left last week-
end for Chicago to attend the Bar Mitzvah of their cousin, Nor-
man Howard Gordon, and to have a reunion with their family.
The Haymans have been home since May 1.
