annual meeting early this
month.

Lubin, auditor. .
Elected for three-year terms
on the synagogue's board of
directors were Morris Fenkell,
Dr. Julius Y. Burstine, Karl
Katkowsky, Jack Schneider and
Sidney Weinberg. •
Ellenson, the son of Mr. and
Mrs. Moses P. Ellenson, ss the
second member of his family to
serve as the president of a con-
gregation.- His father has been
president of Cong. Shaarey Zion
for many years.
Officers and board members
will be officially installed in
ceremonies on May 30, the oc-
casion of the annual dinner-
dance, in the Beth Aaron social
hall.

The second anniversary of
Cong. Beth Joseph, the Rhu-
ziner Shul, at 16450 Wyoming
will be observed this weekend
when Cantor P. Pinchik will
chant the services.
Hyman Karp, Beth Joseph

world-famous cantor will con-
duct services at 9 a.m., Satur-
day, and will be featured at
Maariv-Sfira at 7 p.m., Sunday.

Aviv, Israel, will soon take, up
residence in Detroit when he
comes here to assume the posi-
tion of permanent cantor at
Beth Abraham Synagogue.
