The program, which will be
conducted entirely by the
women Hebraists, Will feature
readings, brief talks, solos and
community singing, Participants
are: Misses Leah and Rose Pike,
Mesdames Meyer Mathis, Shir-
ley Sklash, Drora Kleinplatz,
Devorah Weitzman and Miss
Ruth Reviv.

Guest speaker Aaron Krasner,
assistant professor of social
group work at the Wayne Uni-
versity School of Social Work,
will discuss "What Do Our Chil-
dren Get Out of Group Living?"
The discussion is free and open
to everyone.

The PTO also wishes to an-
nounce that plans are now be-
ing made for the annual card
party to be given on May 5.

227, is holding its regular meet-
ing Saturday, at 9:00 p.m., at
the WC Centre. The evening will
be spent discussing and compar-
ing personal experiences during
World War II.

MRS. GERALD KANTER

Marilyn Dale Kates, daugh-
ter of Mrs. Simon Kates, of
17127 Santa Barbara, and the
late Dr. Kates, and Gerald Alan
Kanter, son of Mr. and Mrs.
Philip Kanter, of Merton Rd.,
were united in marriage in a
ceremony April 10, at Knoll-
wood ,Country Club. Rabbi
Morris Adler officiated.

The bride wore a gown of
white Italian silk taffeta, high-
lighted by a portrait neckline
and short sleeves. The elongated
bodice and bouffant skirt ex-
tended into a chapel- train. Her
illusion veil fell from a crown
-of heirloom orange blossoms.

Mrs. Alvin Gendelman was
the bride's matron of honor, and
Susan Mann was maid of horior.
Bridesmaids were Phyllis Alt-
nian, Judith Holinstat, Shelby
Keywell and Mrs. Gerald Shu-
mer.

An original skit, written and
directed by Mrs. Joseph Dubin
will be presented by the Wom-
en's Auxiliary of Maimonides
Medical Society, at their regular
meeting at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday,
at the L'Aglon Room of the
Fisher Building.
This skit will honor the Honor
Roll Members, and includes
mesdames: I. Walter Silver,
Henry Schlesinger, Sidney
Freidlaender, Charles Gitlin,
Samuel Reisman, and Joseph
Dubin. The musical portions will
be done by Mrs. Samuel Barr.
Mrs. Max Steiner, president,
announces that there Will be a
short business meeting to elect
new officers. Also, Mrs. Steiner
will present Mrs. Samson Wit-.
tenberg, a 25 - yeah member,
with a pin -to honor the occa-
sion..
