Benjamin Tabachinsky, na-
tional field director of the Jew-
ish Labor Committee, who is a
well-known orator and writer
for Zukunft, will be the princi-
pal speaker at the community-
wide commemoration of the 13th
anniversary of the Warsaw
Ghetto Uprising, to be held at
8 p.m., March 25, in the Beth
Aaron social hall, 1800 Wyom-
ing.
The program, arranged by the
culture commission of the Jew-
ish Community Council, will
include English and Yiddish pre-
sentations among which will be
a cancllelighting ceremony by
the children of the Mitteleshul.
A dramatic presentation with
appropriate readings and songs
by the -dramatic group of the
Sholem Aleichem Institute, un-
der the musical direction of
Shoshana Freedman, and litur-
gical selections by Cantor
Jacob Sonenklar will be fea-
tured.
"This tragic-heroic event in
the history-of the Jewish people
is a great modern-day reaffir-
mation of the spirit of liberty,"
declared Dr. Shmarya Klein-
man, chairman of the Ghetto
Commemoration committee.

The First Galician Society
will hold a special membership

Passover Workshop
Set at Temple Israel

The annual Passover Work-
ship presented by the Young
Marrieds Group of Temple

Temple Israel Men.
Set Camp Institute

A weekend of study' and wor-
ship, under the guidance of Dr.
Leon Fram, is planned by a
group of Temple Israel men, be-
ginning today and extending
through Sunday. The Institute
will be held at Haven Hill
Lodge, at Milford.
The principal subject of study
will be "The Ethical Ideals of
the Talmud." Rabbi Sanford
Saperstein, of Temple Beth
Jacob, Pontiac, will share teach-
ing duties with Dr. Fram.
Morton A. Barris is chairman
of the camp arrangements com-
mittee. A group of 25 men have
enrolled for the institute, which
is sponsored by the Men's Club,
of which Irving A. Levy is presi-
dent.
The purpose of the Institute
is to train leaders for spiritual
and cultural activities organized
by the congregation.

Adas Shalom Sisterhood
Slates Annual Sabbath

Adas Shalom's annual Sister-
hood Sabbath will be held at the
late Friday Evening Service at
8:30, tonight. Rabbi Jacob E.
Segal will officiate .and Cantor
Fenakel will chant the service,
assisted by the members of the
Youth Choir.
Rabbi Segal's lecture topic
will be "When Not to Be Silent,"
an appraisal of the current Is-
raeli crisis, with emphasis on
our moral involvement as Jews
and as American citizens. At
the Oneg 'Shabbat social hour
followirig the service, there will
be questions and open discus-
sion on this subject.
Mrs. George Liss, Sisterhood
president, will offer greetings,
and special readings will be led
by Mrs. Philip •elfman and
'Mrs. Joseph Katchke.

Set Post-Purim Dance

"The Mordecai Mirage," a
post-Purim dance of the United
Synagogue Youth of Adas Sha-
lom Synagogue, will be held at
