tion of the eighth anniversary of
Israel's independence, can still

sails from New York March 30
on her Eastbound maiden voy-
age, it was announced by the
American - Israeli Shipping
Company, Inc., U.S. representa-
tives of the Zim Israel Ameri-
ca Line.
Arriving in Haifa on April
13, three days before Yom
Haatsmaut (Independence Day),
Israel's Fourth of July, passen-
gers will also be in time for
the 24th World Zionist Congress,
which opens in Jerusalem on
April 24.
The newly completed S/S
"Zion" accomodates 300 passen-
gers, all in outside staterooms.
She and her sistership, the S/S
"Israel," provide the only di-.
rect passenger service between
the United States and Israel
with sailings from New York
every three weeks the year-
round.
• A feature of both liners is
their air-conditioned synago-
gues, each seating 50 persons.
The vessels offer a strictly
kosher cuisine prepared under
rabbinical supervision.

1 can Manischewitz Tomato
1 medium onion, sliced thin
& Mushroom Sauce

1/4 cup butter
.*4 Manischewitz Matzos, finely
• broken
2 pounds fish fillets, cut into
bite-sized pieces
iii cups cooked. sliced carrots
1 cup cooked, diced celery

1,2 - cup liquid from vegetables
teaspoon salt
Dash of Manischewitz White pepper
*2 1, z cups Manischewitz Matzo Farfel
may be used instead.

Saute onion in butter until tender but not brown. Arrange
matzo, fish, onions, and vegetables in alternate layers in a greased
2 1/2 quart baking dish or 6-8 individual casserole dishes. Combine
tomato and mushroom sauce with vegetable liquid and seasoning.
Pour overtop. Bake in a 'hot oven (425 degrees F) 15-20 minutes
or until fish flakes easily. Serves 6-8.
