Among his published writings
is "The Police and Minority
Groups" prepared for the Chi-
cago Park iDstrict Police. The
work was revised in 1950 and
printed under the title, "Prin-
ciples of Police Work with Mi-
nority Groups" by the Louis-
ville, Kentucky Police Depart-
ment.
Following the talk, a discus-
sion will be led by Nathan D,
Grtmdstein, professor of public
administration at Wayne Uni-
versity.

Narrating the script will be
Harry Goldstein, Al Bounin,
Harry Weiss, Ruth Miller, Ger-
trude Strauss and Vivienne Ka-
men.
Zinovi Bistitzky will conduct
the Adas ShalOrn Symphonic
Ensemble, one of the few eon-

gregational symphonic groups in
existence. In addition to ac-
companying the cantata, the en-
semble will play Avacrion Ov-
erture by Cherubini, Hassidic
Impressions by Bistritzky; They
Will Rejoice by Petrushka; and
Haydn's Symphony in G Major.

Conservative Youth to Host Regional Meet

Four of the city's Conserva-
tive congregations will serve as
hosts to delegates of United
Synagogue Youth chapters at
the fourth annual Central Re-
gional convention this weekend.
Participating grOups are from
Congregations Adas Shalom,
Ahavus Achim, Beth Aaron and
Shaarey Zedek. Arnold Kollin,
of Shaarey Zedek, is convention
chairman, and will be assisted
by Ronald Benson and Sanford
Weiner, of Shaarey Zedek, and
Ira Harris, of • Adas Shalom, as
Co-chairmen.
Beth Aaron will be the scene
of tonight's opening services.
The program will be preceded
by a dinner, to be held at Rain-

bow TerraCe.
For Saturday morning serv-
ices, the Junior Congregation
will take over the main syna-
gogue at Cong, Shaarey Zedek,
following which groups will be
formed to discuss various con-
vention business. -
Mincha and Maariv services
Saturday evening will be" ob. 7
Served at Cong. Ahavas Achim,
after which delegates will re-
turn to Sharey Zedek for the
convention 'dance.
On:the concluding day's pro-
grain is a service and breakfast
gathering at Adas, Shalom. The
convention plenary session will
follow, with election of officers
to highlight the activities.
