of their daughter, Alicia Ellen,
to Paul Alter Tisdale, .son of

Wayne University where Mr.
Tisdale is affiliated with Sigma
Alpha Mu fraternity. The wed-

SKOLLER-GLASS. Mr. and
Mrs. Ben Z. Glass, of Chicago,
Ill., announce the recent mar-
riage of \their daughter, Roz-
anne, to Marvin Skoller, son
of Mr. and Mrs. Ezra Skoller, of
Los Angeles, Calif. Mr, Glass
is executive secretary of Dis-
trict Grand Lodge No. 6 of
Bnai Brith.
The ceremony was solemnized
in the Sun Lounge of the Bev-
erly Hills Hotel, in California,
and was followed by a luncheon
on the Lanai Terrace.
The bride, who was attended
by Lynne Goldman, her cousin
from Beverly Hills, wore a
gown of Chantilly lace over
taffeta and a crown of lace and
pearls, with a flowing nylon
veil. She carried a sheaf of
rose-colored camelias.
Following a honeymoon in-
Palm Springs, the couple will
reside in Beverly Hills where
Mr. Skoller is associated with
Litton Industries, Inc.

ceremony, Lillian Tron, of
Sturtevant Ave., became the
bride of Abraham Isaac Bram,
of Pine Bluff, Ark. Out-of-town
guests here for the wedding
were Mrs. J. Kossover and Reu-
ben Bram, of Little Rock, Ark.,
sister of brother of the bride-
groom, and Miriam Bram and
David Bram, of Pine Bluff. The
couple is now making its home
in Little. Rock.

co-chairman, respectively, of the
program, which is open to the

Rabbi Frankel to Lecture
At Central Michigan College
Rabbi Philip Frankel, of
Temple Shaarey-Zedek, Lans-
ing, will represent the Jewish
Chautauqua Society as lecturer
at the Central Michigan Col-
lege, Mount Pleasant, Mich.,
Tuesday through Thursday. He
will participate - in the Re-
ligious Emphasis Week pro-
gram at the college and will
speak in assembly Feb. 23, at
4 p.m., on the subject, "What
Do,es the Lord Require of Me."

Sam Sheps anounce -the mar-
riage on Feb. 9, at Cong. Shaa-
rey Zion, of their daughter,
Joanne, to Herman Fink, son of

Report on Donor, Tuesday
Mrs. Sidney Ravin, president
of the Ladies' Auxiliary of the
Jewish National Fund, an-
nounces a victory meeting, next
Tuesday, at 12:30 p.m., at the
Beth Aaron Synagogue, Wyom-
ing at Thatcher. Mrs. Samuel
Krone, donor chairman of the
recent drive, at which over
$50,000 was raised, will give a
final report. •
Mrs. Jules Kraft, program
chairman, will introduce the
Adas Shalom Sisterhood Choral
Group, under the direction of
Mrs. Joseph M. Markel, in
"Songs of Our People," honor-
ing Jewish Music Month. Mrs.
George Bassin will be the ac-
companist.
A dessert luncheon will be
served. Hostesses are Mesdames

Memorial Home. An instructor
from the Arthur Murray Studio
will give dancing instructions.

A Valentine party was held at
the Children's Hospital Jan. 25,
under the chairmanship of Ger-
trude Hoffman.

Home for Aged Group
Slates Tuesday Programs

A committee, composed of
residents of the Jewish HOme
for Aged, has set up a series of
cultural activities to take place
on Tuesday evenings. Last
week's program included a news
report by Mr. Koritzky, a hum-
orous story by Mr. Maserman,
a critique on the late Shmuel
Niger, critic and essayist by
Saul Maltz, director of the
Workman's Circle, and an epi-
sode from the life of Dr. Lipetz.
This Tuesday, Mr. Maserman
will again give the news report,
Mrs. Feigelman will present
several. songs and Michel Sher-
man will read from Jewish
poetry. Students from the Work-
man's Circle School will present
a Purim program, featuring - an
operetta, on' Feb.' _28. '
