Freedman, Judge Panken
Anti-Zionists at the UN

By DAVID HOROWITZ
Anti-Israel Benjamin Freed- .
man and Judge Panken were on
hand to see Israel condemned
by the UN last week. Freed-
man, sitting in the public gal-
lery, got into a fight with a
UN guard who refused to let
him down through the press
section so that he could come
-closer to his Arab friends and
congratulate them on their
"victory." Judge Parrken, get-
ting - a press ticket on the
strength of William Zukerman's
Jewish Newsletter and asking
this writer how to get to the
Council chamber, said, "Do you
know who I am?" When he
gave me his title and back-
ground, the writer inquired,
"But are you of the Jewish
faith!" He raised his head, say :-
ing, "Well, now — I am an
American!"
