Participating in a recent talent show arranged by Council-
ettes, junior organization of the National • Council of Jewish
Women, were Rochelle Cohen, Susan Bicoll, Carol Kramer,
Cathie' Platt, Sharalynn Lambert, Elaine Portner, Glenda Sam-
uels, Sue Spertner and Hilda Rosenberg. The show was produced
by Anita Kramer, and featured as main attraction the Four
Scores, who include Jerry Starr, Harvey Yates, Steve Cotin and
Mark Owens.
Miss Henny Mosbach, of Kwuzah Beth Haschitah, Israel,
is currently visiting here with her brother, Mr. Paul Mosbach,
of 19491 Pinehurst. Miss Mosbach, who went to Palestine in
1933 from Germany, is head nurse at the Children's Hospital
of Kwuzah Beth Haschitah, one of the early settlements in the
Jewish state.
Mr. and Mrs. David B. Brown, of 18674 Snowden, and their
granddaughters, the Misses Roxanne and Betsy Stromer, of
Greenlawn Ave., recently returned from a month's vacation in
Miami Beach, Fla.
Dr. and Mrs. Ted Winshall and son, Walter, will return today
to their home, at 17210 James Couzens, after spending a month's
vacation in Miami Beach, Fla.
Dr. and Mrs. Mischa Sachs and daughters, Arlene and Wendy,
formerly of 20130 Votrobeck Ct., are now residing in their new
home at 15111 Burton, Oak Park., Mich.

Slate Oneg Shabbat

Gertrude Strauss, who has ap-
peared on local radio and tele-
vision programs, will present a
program of readings and recita-
tions at an oneg shabbat spon-
sored by the Beth Aaron Sister-
hood at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, in
the synagogue social hall.
The title of her presentation
will be "The Sabbath—A Day of
Delight," state Mrs. B. H. Gorre-
lick and Mrs. J. Kanners, chair-
man and co-chairman of the
oneg shabbat committee.
Also to be featured will be
community singing led by Can-
tor Judah Goldring and a spe-
cial sabbath message given by
Rabbi Benjamin H. Gorrelick.
