Temple Israel PTO Sets Three Meetings
A series of three meetings
of parents and teachers of the
Temple Israel Religious School
is being planned by the Parent
Teachers Organization, under
the chairmanship of Fred Gins-
burg.
The first program will be
held at 8:15 p.m., Wednesday, in
the temple, when parents of
children in grades 1 to 3 -meet
with teaChers in those classes.
Following a discussion with
grade teachers on the curricu-
lum of the school, parents will
adjourn for an assembly, at
which Dr. Leon Fram and Rabbi
M. Robert Syme will*)ealc4ndz:
answer questions' on Jewish
education in general.
A social hour, during which
parents will be able to con-
verse individually with their
children's teachers, will con-
clude the evening.
The second PTO program on
Feb. 1 will be for parents of
children in grades 4 and 5;
and the concluding event will
be on Feb. 8 for parents of
children in grades 6 to 8.

Folk Schools Plan
Official Opening
Of Building, Feb. 4
Pupils' of the United Jewish
Folk Schools started back to
school for the second semester
this week, in the new Labor
Zionist Bldg., 19161 Schaefer.
Meanwhile, plans are being
made for an official grand
opening on Feb. 4 to celebrate
the beginning of the school
term in the new building. All
Labor Zionists are being in-
vited to participate in the pro-
gram.
School officials this week an-
nounced that registration for
children 7 to 13 will remain
open a few more days. before
intensive study resumes in the
classrooms.
