orchestras on this continent. This

planned for the orchestra's ad-
vancement since Frank Square
Wellman, in 1906, with the as-
sistance of Dr. Edward Fisher,
organized the Toronto Conserv-
atory Orchestra, which, after
two:successful years became the
Toronto Symphony Orchestra. .
