Election week saw many other
exciting events. After last-minute
preparations on . Monday and
Tuesday, the candidates met with
their managers and supporters
bright and early Wednesday
(7:15 a.m.) near the school audi-
torium. Here, posters-were pass-
ed out, and boxes containing
gum, cookies, and candy were
given out to be distributed among
12-Bs.

For the next three hours, ex-
cited and jubilant 12-Bs stalked
the halls and classrooms, passing
out their wares and boasting of
the merits of their candidates.
At 10:30, the business was called
to an end and school life re-
sumed its normal pace.

Thursday, 'eighth hoUr found
the June seniors in the auditor-
ium, listening to the qualifica-
tions of each candidate, after
which the hopeful officers-to-be
walked across the .stage. Voting
was then held.
,
That night, all candidates and
managers attended a party -at
the house of Marsha Farber.
Worries about the outcome were
forgotten and a good time be-
came the chief objedt.
After fifth hour Friday,
12-Bs crowded around the sec-
ond floor bulletin board to learn
the results. Excitement reigned
in school the rest of the day.
And, at night, the traditional
celebration party was held, at
the home of Dave Lipschutz.
Everyone was there, win or lose.
