'Heidi and Peter Opens at Krim Theater
"Heidi and Peter," Switzer-
land's first feature film in color,
based on the novel, "Heidi Makes
Use of What She Has Learned,"
by Johanna Spyri, is currently
playing at the Krim Theater,
Woodward near 6 Mile Rd.
The production is the work of
Lazar Wechsler, whose films dur-
ing the past two decades have
opened the world market to
Swiss motion pictures.
His new offering is a Cotor pro-
duction with the same characters
as "Heidi," which captivated
movie audiences on five contin-
ents two years ago.
The original picture won the
'Grand Prize Venice 1953 Special
Award. The same cast was re-
