Shaarey Zedek Produces 'Sabbath Eve-
At Home", Impressive Ceremony Recording

A recording of a complete Sab-
bath Eve ceremony, directed and
produced by Samuel J. Benavie
for Congregation Shaarey' Zedek,
this week was enthusiastically
received by the congregation's
members and many of their
friends who have acquired the
33-inch two-sided record.
The script of the record ;-
"Sabbath Eve at Home," was
written by Rabbi Morris Ad-
ler who • explains the • cere-
monies and points out, in the
cour e of his remarks; "the
unity of Israel through the
Sabbath."
` (The Sabbath makes us whole
again and reunites us with God,"
Rabbi Adler declares in his mes-
sage to the listeners.
Cantor Jacob H. Sonenklar, as-
sisted. by Dan Frohman and the
Shaarey Zedek choirs, sing the
musical selections and provide
the musical background.
Harry Goldstein ably serves
as narrator for this interesting
service.

weddings and supplementary
High Holy Day services.
The building also will house a
chapel for daily services of wor-
ship. It will be named the Leon
Fram Hall, in honor of the found-
ing rabbi of the congregation.

Ahavas Achim Concert

concert of Jewish music at 8:30

gogue of Cong. Ahavas Achim,
