United Nations, featured long
speeches by Arab representa-
tives debating the Arab refugee
problem in the General As-
sembly's special political com-
mittee. While Mr. Eban drew
most of the Arab fire, some of
the barbs were also directed at
Foreign Minister Moshe Sharett
and Premier David Ben-Gurion.
The Arab speakers included
Victor Khouri of Lebanon and
Mohammed Fadhil Jamali of
Iraq.
Mordecai R. Kidrc•n, deputy
chairman of the Israel delega-
tion to the United. Nations,
clashed with the Iraqi delegate,
accusing the latter before a plen-
ary session of the General , As-
sembly of distortion in his
anxiety to drag in attacks on
Israel in and out of season. The
Israel delegate also accused the
Iraqi representative of falsifica-
tion when he contended that the
General Assembly never had the
legal power to admit Israel into
the United Nations.

Israel. A girl visiting the mu-
seum there went up to the an-
cient instrument and dashed off
a few notes. Then she got up
again and asked the attendant if
any great musicians had ever
come to see the piano. "Arthur
Rubinstein was here just a few
weeks ago," he informed her.
"Oh, I suppose he played some-
thing beautiful on it," said the
girl.
"Not at all," replied the at-
tendant quietly. "He said he did
not feel worthy to touch it."
