Speaking their marital vows
before a traditional altar, inipro-
vised, in the Bel-Aire Terrace on
Nov. 23, were Marilyn Sipher and
Marvin Chaben. Rabbi Jacob E.
Segal officiated.
The bride is the daughter of
Mr.:and Mrs. Jack Sipher, of 7334:
Thatcher. Mr. Chaben's parentS
are Mr. and Mrs. Hymen Chaben,
Of Oak Park.
The new Mrs. Chaben chose a
bridal-white, silk, taffeta gown
of ballerina length with insets
Of lace appliques on the bodice
and full tulle over-skirt.
She wore a shoulder-length
veil of French illusion which fell
from a Juliet cap. She carried
a Bible covered, with white or-
chids and forget-me-nots.
Mrs. Allen Sipher, the bride's
sister-in-law, attended as matron
of honor. Lana Chaben, sister of

bridesmaid. -•
Sheldon Goldberg was the best
man, and seating the guests was
the bride's brother, Allen Sipher.
Following dinner and a recep.
Lion, the young couple left for a
honeymoon in Chicago. On their
return, they will take up resi-
dence in Detroit until their home
is completed in Oak Park.
