Zeclakah Club,. a 34-year-old
organization, has served the com-
munity during that time in many
endeavors. It is noted particu-
larly, however, for its work with
the aged in the community.
Cases are channeled to the or-
ganization by the Jewish Social
Service Bureau, with which it
works in close cooperation,. many
synagogues and individuals.
Only last Sunday, a group of
members attended the dedication
of the Jewish chapel at Ypsilanti
State Hospital. They presented a
Sefer Torah to the congregdtion,
through its chaplain, Rabbi Solo-
mon H. Gruskin. The Torah was
in memory of Mrs. Estelle Silver-
man, who before her death was
a devoted worker.

the JeWish • Welfare Federation's
Detroit Service Group, at its bi-
ennial meeting, Nov. 21, at the
City Club. He also was chosen
representative to the board of

Wilfred B. Doner, Arthur Robin-
son, David Safran, Leon S. Way-
burn and Lew Wisper were elec-
ted division vice chairmen.

Annual Hanukah Celebration
