er. Lord Kilmuir, the Lord Chan-
cellor, presided.

are among the fighters who have
been named- to boxing's new Hall
of Fame. Their portraits were
among those unveiled in the
offices of Ring Magazine in New
York at the ceremonies dedicat-
ing the Hall of Fame.

ceived 96 votes in the balloting
for the modern divisiOn. He was
named along with Harry Greb,
Gene Tunny, and Mickey Walker.

Kennedy Misled When
Re Sought to Visit
Soviet Synagogue

WASHINGTON (JTA)—Robert
F. Kennedy, counsel for the Sen-
ate Investigations Subcommittee,
reported he was misled by Com-
munists when he sought to visit
' a synagogue - during •his - recent
visit •to the Soviet Union. He
made this known in an interview
published by "U.S. News and
World Report."
Kennedy waS asked if there
were any Jewish colonies in the
Siberian area. He replied: "Not
that we visited. We were asked
to visit the synagogues in . -Stalina-
bad in Central Asia, when we
.were there, and were told. there
Wasn't one. When we got to

was a synagogue in Stalinabad,
so once again we were given
