Mr. and Mrs. Abe Katzman and daughters are now residing

Miss Ruthe E. Katzman, is residing in Ann Arbor where she is a
sophomore at the University of Michigan.
Mr. and Mit. Samuel H. Weingarden, of 3035 W. Grand, cele-
brated their 49th wedding anniversary on Nov. 5, at a party given
in their honor by their daughter, Florence. Among the many rela-
tives and friends helping the couple to celebrate were their four
sons, daughters-in-law and five grandchildren. •
Mrs. Louise Rome of Hartford, Conn. is visiting with her daugh-
te-rs• and sons-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Carl R. Lichenstein and Mr.
and Mrs. Jerome Reiss, and her new grand-daughter, Robin Lynn.
Mr. and Mrs. Henry Meyers, former Detroiters, now of 353
N. Hayworth, Los Angeles, Calif., will observe their 40th wedding
anniversary on Thanksgiving Day. Married in Detroit, they resided
here until recently when they moved to the West Coast. They have
two children, Norman and Lillian Meyers, and two grandchildren,
Kenneth and Steven Meyers.
Mr. and Mrs. Nathan Barnett and sons, Ronald and Alan, for-
merly of Taylor Ave., are now residing in their new home at 24661
Church, Oak Park.
Mrs. Bertha Leiser will celebrate her 80th birthday at a family

Mrs. C. Wolfgang, of Muirland Ave:, is spending the winter
months in Miami - Beach, Fla.
Mr. and Mrs. Ben B. Cohen, of Telegraph Rd., SOuthfield
Township, have as their house guests Mr. and Mrs. Sam Cohen
and children, of Phenix City, Ala., and Mr. and Mrs. Philip Cohen,
of Birmingham, Ala. They will stay here until Dec. 1 when all
three families will leave together to stay at the Birmingham home
of the Philip Cohens. From there, the Detroit Cohens will leave on
Dec. 15 to spend the winter months in Miami Beach, Fla.
